Manchester United are interested in signing Phil Neville’s son Harvey from La Liga giants Valencia, according to reports in Spain.

The 14-year-old joined Valencia in 2015 when his father became assistant coach at the club and has stayed in Spain since.

sacked as manager but Harvey has prospered in Spain and his ability on set pieces has drawn comparisons with United legend Beckham.

Neville was on United’s books before spending a brief period with rivals Manchester City in his younger days but Spanish outlet Super Deporte claim the Red Devils want him back.


United have been on a recruitment drive since Nicky Butt was appointed as Academy Director 18 months ago and they’ve signed youngsters from all over the world.

Spurs are also thought to be interested in signing Neville but his family’s history with United would surely give the Red Devils the advantage.
