in for Vrsaljko due to suspension, Kevin Gameiro and Angel Correa.

Lacazette was presented an opportunity to put the visitors ahead in the 30th minute when he found himself unmarked in Athletico’s 18 yard box but the Frenchman came up short because he couldn’t sort out hia feet in time.

Koke and Griezmann also missed clear chances to put the spanish side infront but missed these chances.

Costa put the Home side in the lead just immediately after the break after holding off a challenge from Hector Bellerin inside the Arsenal box before finishing over Ospina .

Ramsey had a huge chance for the Gunners in the 53rd minute when the ball broke for the Welshman inside the Atletico box, but he could only bundle wide of the post under pressure.

The match ended 1-0 meaning Athletico Madrid would playing Marseille in the finals of the UEFA Europa League .
